The program uses dramatized recreations and actuality recordings of a black marketeer confessing, an R.A.F. raid, Winston Churchill, first news of the invasion of Sicily, the salvage of the Normendie, Madame Chang Kai-Shek. The program is dedicated to the memory of Frank Jewel, correspondent for Mutual who was killed earlier in the year. Mai-Ling Chiang Kai-Shek, Dwight Eisenhower, Cordell Hull, Bernard Montgomery, Frank Singiser (narrator), Roger Bower (director), Franklin Roosevelt (he sounds as if he might be impersonated), Winston Churchill, Edythe Meserand (supervisor), Howard Merrill (writer). 59:43.
