6307. Apollo 7. October 11, 1968. Coverage of the flight. Recordings from all TV nets and radio newscast during the flight. The recordings are line feeds Apollo Control (only small excerpts of which ever get on the air), progress reports, interviews with the Astronauts, scientists, NASA officials, subcontractors, mock-up descriptions, etc. All filler material has been deleted as continuous coverage on later flights lasted for days. Press conferences are also included (most of which are never broadcast), as are ceremonies days of weeks later honoring the Astros. Coverage is complete from well before blastoff to well after recovery. Audio quality from TV coverage generally excellent, from AM radio, generally very good, from Apollo Coverage runs about 12 hours. Wally Schirra, Donn Eisele, Walter Cunningham. 12 hours.
