"The Life of Paul Griffith" (newly elected National Commander of the Legion). A "preparedness program" for immediate coverage of the 28th Annual American Legion convention in San Francisco. Obviously recorded before the election, which was either a foregone conclusion or fixed. Griffith's biography is tinged with adulation only slightly less intense than that accorded George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. Mike Wallace is billed as "Myron" Wallace. Johnnie Neblett, Mike Wallace (announcer). 15 minutes. Audio condition: Excellent. Complete.
